How long is a school board term?
School board terms are four years.

Will my district hold elections in 2024?
All school districts will hold elections in 2024. Because terms are staggered, not all seats will be elected. Click here for a list of which seats will be voted on.

When and where are elections held?
Delaware school board elections in 2024 will be held May 14. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

When do I have to file?
The filing deadline is 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 1st.
