First State Educate Launches “Shared Goals, Diverse Perspectives”

At First State Educate, we’re always looking for ways to strengthen the connection between community members and school leadership. With that goal in mind, we’re thrilled to introduce a brand-new approach that combines our Community Action Meetings (CAM) and School Board Workshops (SBW) into one unified forum:  Shared Goals, Diverse Perspectives

 What to Expect

The new format introduces a hands-on, problem-solving approach. Before each session, participants receive a case study to read. Participants arrive prepared to discuss their questions,  insights and suggestions. Community members and school board leaders work together in small groups to apply the learnings from the case to address shared challenges. Expert facilitators offer guidance, tips and practical advice to ensure participants leave with actionable solutions.

Benefits

  • Tackle Real-World Challenges: Participants address local school issues and develop practical solutions for their districts.

  • Collaborative Learning: Community members and school board leaders work together, gaining new insights and fostering strong partnerships.

  • Expert Guidance: Sessions are led by experienced facilitators who provide tips to support discussions and decision-making.

  • Build Stronger Relationships: The forum promotes ongoing dialogue and collaboration between the community and school leadership.

We're excited about the positive impact this integrated approach will bring to our school boards and communities. In addition, FSE is available to offer customized sessions for specific districts or communities upon request.
